  • Greta Thunberg was detained by the Israeli military after the Gaza aid vessel she was travelling on was intercepted.
  • The Global Sumud Flotilla reported on 1 October that Israeli forces had boarded three of its vessels.
  • Israel's foreign ministry confirmed Ms Thunberg's detention, stating she and her companions were “safe and healthy”.
  • Israeli forces have stopped 14 boats carrying aid to Gaza, though 23 other vessels continue to sail.
