Hero who rushed to save children from Hampshire bus crash leaves Susanna Reid emotional
Hampshire bus crash hero praised by GMB’s Susanna Reid
- Bruno Aguiar, an electrician, was among the first on the scene after a double-decker bus carrying students crashed into a river in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
- Mr Aguiar had been driving in the opposite direction when he witnessed the bus swerve and crash.
- He used a ladder from his van to help to rescue passengers from the wreckage.
- Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid was visibly emotional during an interview with Aguiar, praising him as a hero and suggesting he receive a Pride of Britain award.
