Families of Israeli hostages protest Netanyahu plan to occupy Gaza
Families of Israeli hostages protested outside Benjamin Netanyahu's office against his plans to occupy Gaza.
Demonstrators were seen in chains and holding posters of their missing loved ones, with one protester dressed as Netanyahu holding a ripped Israeli flag and a baby doll.
Anat Angrest, the mother of a hostage, stated that the government had abandoned her son by failing to propose a comprehensive deal to bring all 50 hostages home.
The protest occurred as the Israeli Security Cabinet approved a plan to expand military control in Gaza on Friday, 8 August 2025.
