  • Nestlé, the world's largest packaged-food maker, has dismissed its chief executive officer, Laurent Freixe.
  • The dismissal resulted from a board-ordered investigation into an undisclosed romantic relationship Freixe had with a subordinate employee, which violated the company's code of conduct.
