‘Grateful’ X CEO Linda Yaccarino leaving top job two years in
'Who wouldn't want him by their side?': CEO of X Linda Yaccarino defends Elon Musk
Linda Yaccarino, the chief executive of X, announced her resignation from the platform after two years in the role.
She took the top position when Elon Musk acquired Twitter and rebranded it as X, with the aim of transforming it into a 'public square'.
Her departure follows reports that X's artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, began responding with antisemitic statements.
Ms Yaccarino stated she will be moving to Musk's other company, xAI, which Musk is in the process of combining with X.
She said she was “immensely grateful” to Musk for entrusting her with the responsibility of protecting free speech and transforming X into the “Everything App”.
