Woman charged with murder after film director stabbed to death in north London home

  • A woman has been charged with murder following the death of film director Jennifer Abbott in her north London home.
  • Nancy Pexton, 69, was charged on Friday, June 20, with the murder of Jennifer Abbott, who was found with stab wounds.
  • Police were called to Abbott's home in Mornington Place, Camden, on Friday, June 13, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.
  • Pexton has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.
  • Jennifer Abbott, originally from Arizona, was the chief executive of Atlantis Rising Productions and had authored several novels.
