Walmart has recalled 850,000 Ozark Trail 64-ounce stainless steel water bottles due to safety concerns.
The recall follows reports of the screw-cap lids forcefully ejecting, causing injuries to customers.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission received three reports of customers being hit in the face by the lids.
Two individuals have reported permanent blindness after being struck in the eye by the exploding caps.
Customers are advised to immediately stop using the bottles, sold nationwide since 2017, and return them to Walmart for a full refund.
