Starmer told to ‘change course immediately’ or face removal by May
Yvette Cooper ‘frustrated’ by Home Office move amid Starmer reshuffle, Ed Balls reveals
Labour MPs are publicly warning that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is at risk of being ousted following a turbulent first year in office.
Richard Burgon said that Sir Keir must "change course immediately" or face removal by May, particularly if local election results are poor.
Mr Burgon also warned of a potential "far-right extremist government" and said the prime minister has a duty to prevent that by delivering real change.
Other Labour MPs, including Clive Lewis and Graham Stringer, have openly questioned Sir Keir's leadership, with Mr Stringer calling his position "vulnerable".
Concerns about the prime minister's judgement intensified after the sacking of Britain’s ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, due to his links with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
