Christian Horner could return to F1 after Red Bull exit confirmed
Christian Horner's emotional speech after Redbull F1 sacking
Christian Horner has officially departed from Red Bull, receiving a reported payout exceeding £80m.
He was relieved of his operational duties as F1 team principal and CEO in July, after 20 years with the team, following a power struggle.
Horner's exit follows a personal scandal last year involving alleged "inappropriate behaviour", for which he was cleared after two internal investigations.
During his tenure, Horner led Red Bull to six constructors' titles and eight drivers' crowns since the team's inception in 2005.
He is now free to return to Formula One next year and has been linked with a move to Alpine.
