David Beckham blasts ‘disrespectful’ club rival after social media jibes

David Beckham criticised Minnesota United for mocking Inter Miami on social media after Minnesota's 4-1 victory.
One Instagram post had the caption “Pink Phony Club” in reference to Miami's colors and lack of history. This prompted the club’s co-owner Beckham to call for respect and elegance.
Another Minnesota post showed a picture of a banner from the game which read: “History over hype, culture over cash.”
Despite Lionel Messi scoring for the second consecutive game, Inter Miami suffered their fourth defeat in five matches.
Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Anthony Markanich, and Robin Lod scored for Minnesota, while an own goal from Marcelo Weigandt added to Miami's woes.
