Tottenham have made an approach to sign winger Savinho from Manchester City.
Manchester City are unwilling to sell Savinho, believing his value exceeds the mooted €50m.
Savinho, who joined City for £31m from sister club Troyes, had a successful first season, providing eight Premier League assists.
City manager Pep Guardiola is generally open to selling players who wish to leave, provided their asking price is met.
Tottenham's interest in Savinho comes as they seek replacements for the injured James Maddison, despite already signing Mohammed Kudus.
