Morgan Gibbs-White has committed his future to Nottingham Forest by signing a new "record" contract, dashing Tottenham's hopes of acquiring him.
Earlier reports suggested Tottenham had triggered a £60million release clause, but the move stalled after Forest threatened legal action over an alleged illegal approach.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis confirmed the signing, calling it a "statement of intent" and emphasising the club's determination to build its future with Gibbs-White.
Marinakis highlighted Gibbs-White's talent, character, and ambition, stating there was significant interest from other clubs.
Gibbs-White, who joined Forest from Wolves three years ago, expressed feeling at home and believing in the club's ambition, committing to stay until the summer of 2028.
