chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson will miss the rest of the Premier League season due to a red card for violent conduct against Newcastle.
Jackson was sent off after catching defender Sven Botman with his elbow, initially receiving a yellow card that was upgraded to red after a VAR review.
The three-match ban will see Jackson miss crucial games against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, impacting chelsea's Champions League qualification hopes.
The red card significantly hampered chelsea, who were already trailing 1-0 after an early goal by Sandro Tonali.
Jackson will be available for the Europa Conference League final against Real Betis.
