Scottie Scheffler has successfully defended his Memorial Tournament title at Muirfield Village, emulating Tiger Woods, who achieved this feat between 1999 and 2001.
Scheffler secured a four-stroke victory over Ben Griffin, marking his third win in four starts, following victories at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and PGA Championship.
Scheffler's final round included birdies at the seventh, 11th, and 15th holes, leading to a two-under-par 70, with his only bogey occurring at the 10th.
Ben Griffin finished second, followed by Sepp Straka in third and Nick Taylor in fourth, while Tommy Fleetwood tied for 16th and Robert MacIntyre tied for 20th.
Rickie Fowler secured a spot for The Open at Royal Portrush in July after finishing in a tie for seventh, earning the exemption due to his higher world ranking compared to Brandt Snedeker.
