Watch: Luke Littler’s Premier League dig as he responds to boos from darts crowd in Liverpool
Manchester United fan Luke Littler had the last laugh after being booed at the Premier League Darts in Liverpool.
The 17-year-old is a fan favourite across the UK after bursting onto the scene at the World Darts Championship, but was jeered by the 8,500-capacity crowd due to his football loyalties on Thursday night (25 April).
He played up to it though, cupping his hands to his ears and signalling 2-0 to the crowd ahead of his quarter-final win against Gerwyn Price.
Littler was referencing Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat at Everton the night before.
He went on to beat Rob Cross 6-2 in the final to go back to the top of the Premier League table.
