Dozens of Britons on board crashed Air India Dreamliner
- An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, flight AI171 bound for London Gatwick, crashed in a residential area of Gujarat, India, shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport.
- There were 242 people on board, including 169 Indian, 53 British, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian national.
- The plane crashed five minutes after takeoff, following a mayday call, and hit a hostel building for doctors in Meghani Nagar.
