  • Leigh Leopards are reportedly refusing to participate in their Super League semi-final against Wigan Warriors due to a ticketing dispute.
  • Wigan claims Leigh owner Derek Beaumont informed them in writing that his team would not fulfil Friday's scheduled fixture.
  • Wigan states they offered Leigh an allocation of up to 5,400 tickets, which is almost double the league's 10 per cent minimum requirement.
  • The Warriors insist the ticket allocation was determined by independent safety advisory groups and their ground safety officer, a decision endorsed by Super League.
  • Wigan emphasised that the safety and welfare of all supporters are paramount and not open to negotiation, as they continue preparations for the match.
