This year alone, three films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be shown on cinema screens: Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok.

Already, we know Black Panther and Avengers Infinity War will be filming throughout 2017 - the latter, which may be the highest budgeted film of all time, preparing for a year-long shoot.

My Entertainment World ha revealed that Ant-Man And The Wasp, a sequel to the Paul Rudd-led Marvel success Ant-Man, will start filming 6 July.

Den of Geek, who picked up the news, noted how filming takes place at Atlanta's Pinewood facility, where numerous Marvel projects are being worked on.

While few details about Ant-Man And The Wasp are known, We Got This Covered is reporting that the film is being made under the project title “Cherry Blue”, a name that no doubt has very little relevance to the story.

Along with Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas will reprise their roles from the first film. The sequel reaches cinemas 2018, post-Infinity War but pre-Infinity War’s untitled sequel.
