Guy Ritchie's latest offering is undoubtedly better than 'Swept Away' and 'Revolver', but then, what film could be worse than they were?

Like 'Lock Stock' and 'Snatch', 'RocknRolla' zips between storylines, each set in a caricature of London's underworld, but this time the threads don't intertwine into a tapestry; they tangle into a meaningless mess. Besides, it's hard to get over the narrator's opening declaration that property prices in the capital are shooting ever upwards.
