Don't be put off by the name - these guys Sound Good.

The Bath-based band are making some noise with their slacker-style guitar music and are currently touring with Rat Boy: check out their video for 'Avalanche' below:

Q&A with Bad Sounds

What are you listening to at the moment?

Speakerbox/The Love Below by Outkast is constantly on in the tour bus. I've been listening to NAO loads, I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan and I love that you can hear his influence in NAO's music but it still feels really original.

What are you plans for the rest of 2016?

We've got a few headline dates in November that we're really looking forward to, Camden Assembly Room in London on the 29th, and The Exchange in Bristol on the 30th. Mainly we are going to be back in the studio to record, hopefully doing another collaboration with ThisisDA. Also 'Wages' is coming out on a 7“ which is ”dreams coming true“ material for us.

What was the first gig you ever played and what's been the best so far?

I don't remember the first official “Bad Sounds” gig but one of the earliest i can remember is this awful show in Bath where Callum got drunk and jumped in the crowd half way through the third song.

The best gig so far is probs one of the shows we played supporting Ratboy on tour this year, it's kinda hard to say which because they were all pretty dope but at a push I'd say Glasgow, its got a bad rep and we'd heard stories about how rough it is, but we met some of the nicest people there, we can't wait to go back.
