Adele has sold-out a 107-date tour in seconds, headlined Glastonbury, and been asked to do the Superbowl (she turned it down); turns out that's more than enough time away from home for the 25 songstress.

According to reports, the 28-year-old will take a lengthy break following her current world tour, which finished in November, to concentrate on bringing up her son, Angelo.

"Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life,” a source told The Sun. “She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won't be able to join her any more.”

The source went on to explain how Adele “doesn't want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up” and that “it's an easy decision for her to give up touring for him,” adding that she won’t embark on another world tour for at least 10-years.

However, although she would not tour, the singer has considered doing a Las Vegas residency, following in the footsteps of Elton John, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears.

Adele was the ninth highest earning celebrity in the world last year, grossing $80.5 million (£62 million) thanks to the release of 25. That cumulative figure did not include her current world tour.

Recently, Adele apologised for canceling her tour date in Phoenix, US, telling fans: "I'm really, really sorry. I've had a cold for a couple days and I've been pushing through it, and I did my show last night and I loved it. But I pushed too hard and my cold has gotten the better of me.” The show was rescheduled for later that week.
