How to Destroy Angels, Trent Reznor's new project with his wife Mariqueen Maandig, will be offering up its debut EP free of charge, according to a May 28 announcement on the duo's website. Free downloads will be sent to fans on June 1, several days before the album's physical release on June 6.
Fans who pre-order before June 1 will get one track, "The Believers," immediately. The EP will then be delivered in high-quality MP3s in a separate email. An HD package, available for $2.00, includes a music video for the track "The Space in Between."
How to Destroy Angels marks the first music to be released by Reznor, the frontman of iconic industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, since that band gave its final tour in 2009. It is also Reznor's first official collaboration with Manndig, who is the former frontwoman of Los Angeles rock band West Indian Girl.
