Game of Thrones season 6: Jaime Lannister confesses some dark sins in new clip
'I broke a sacred oath and stabbed my king in the back'
With the sixth season of Game of Thrones starting within the next 24 hours, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their favourite characters.
In the build up, many questions have been asked about Jon Snow’s fate, yet little has been seen or asked of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s Jaime Lannister.
The actor was a guest on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, promoting the upcoming season and debuting an extended clip featuring his character and the High Sparrow in King’s Landing.

Show all 26As you may suspect, with the Sparrow having made Jaime’s sister/lover Cercei walk the streets of the city naked, the Lannister is not best pleased, and asks what he should do to repent his many sins (including being a kingslayer, allowing Tyrion to escape and being involved with his daughter’s death).
The clip abruptly stops after he details what he has done, leaving us guessing as to what the High Sparrow’s response will be. Luckily, fans don’t have to wait long, as the first episode of season six debuts much later tonight. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season.
