Watch Bryan Cranston sing in a boy band for one night only
'Hey girl...'
Bryan Cranston, Emmy-winning actor, nice guy and general good sport, was only too happy to indulge James Corden on The Late Late Show this week, forming a grown-up boy band with the host and Reggie Watts called M3n Not Boyz.
Dressed in a white linen suit with mohawk hairstyle, the Breaking Bad actor gave a Boyz II Men-esque spoken word intro, before launching into a specially-written track ‘I Can't Be Your Boy (Cuz I'm a Grown Man)’.
“Eventually, boy bands grow up into man bands with a whole new set of problems and totally different ways to love you," Corden said, introducing the band.
Cranston sang: ”Hey girl, I know you've been with boys before, but now you're all done with that.
"You need someone who's gonna be there for you, someone who's gonna stand up for you, someone who still doesn't believe in ATMs or emojis. You need a grown man."
We now live in a world where musicians and actors are expected to degrade themselves for chat show sketches almost constantly, with last week’s Late Late Show seeing Alanis Morissette correct the lyrics to her most famous track, ‘Ironic’.
