Floods in south-western China have killed 14 people and left 53 missing while destroying roads, bridges and thousands of homes.
The deaths were in Wangmo, a county in Guizhou province, the Xinhua news agency reported. Some 45,000 residents in the county, which has a population of 8 million, have been evacuated since flood waters inundated the area on Monday.
Tang Quanshu of the county's flood prevention office said another 3,000 people were still stranded.
