Grey seals take foam baths on Welsh beach

Video has emerged offering an insight into the pleasant winter habits of grey seals on the shores Bardsey Island in North Wales.

The footage was filmed last December by Ben Porter, a photographer and wildlife enthusiast, who has been living on the island for the past eight years.

It shows a group of grey seals playing, resting and even using stretches of the shore to enjoy long foam baths on Bardsey Island.

Around 30 grey seal pups are born on the island at autumn each year.

Bardsey Island, which is only 0.7 square miles, is located off the Llyn Peninsula in the Welsh county of Gwynedd. It is renowned for its wildlife and rugged scenery.
