Despite numerous efforts from Danny Ings, Burnley were unable to break the deadlock against Tottenham at Turf Moor.

It was a special day for the main striker at the other end of the pitch, Harry Kane. He captained Spurs for the first time but the recently-named England international failed to continue his scoring run.

Michel Vorm, who replaced the injured Hugo Lloris, had his hands full as the home side had 15 shots, of which four were on target.

Ings came closest to scoring early on in the match after a blunder from the visitors' defence but the Dutch keeper was equal to it.

Sean Dyche's side pushed for the winner but neither Sam Vokes nor George Boyd could break the stalemate.

The result saw Mauricio Pochettino's side miss a great opportunity to move to fifth ahead of Liverpool, whilst Burnley moved up to 18th, behind Sunderland (prior to the Black Cats' game with Newcastle) only on goal difference.

So who were the stand-out players? We rate them...
