San Fran Robot Restaurant 'Eatsa' Fully Replaces Waiters with iPads

Waiters are out and iPads are in for this San Francisco restaurant where you can order, pay and eat without talking to a single person.

Any introverts relishing the idea must also be fans of quinoa however, the ingredient of choice for Eatsa, the restaurant that wants to prioritise speed and simplicity.

The food is all produced unseen before appearing in hatches with customers’ names on the doors.

Diners appear to have had mixed reactions to the concept. Rajiv Anand lauded its “amazing execution”.

While Jennifer Daniel was keen to note the difference between screens and reality.

Are the machines taking over or have we become unable to even order lunch without feeling awkward?
