Google Street View moves indoors

If you’re a fan of the Indiana Colts NFL team you can now check out their stadium on your smartphone thanks to Google Street View.

Yes, that’s right: the search giant’s cameras have penetrated the Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium to provide 360 degree imagery of its field, tunnel and even hallowed locker rooms.

Google has form with this sort of thing – it drove one of its little snooping cars around London 2012’s Olympics venues – but Trending would rather it put its Orwellian surveillance powers to better use. How about showing us what really goes on inside an Amazon warehouse or what about keeping track of the shenanigans at a Findus lasagne factory? The company is in need of some good PR and this is its chance.
