A Day That Shook The World: Charles and Camilla marry
On 9 April 2005, Prince Charles finally married his long-term partner Camilla Parker-Bowles.
The wedding of Britain's next king was held at Windsor Guild Hall, with his son Prince William as witness and various other royals in attendance, before a church blessing at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Crowds lined the route that morning, though the union was not without controversy: Parker-Bowles was blamed by some for the breakup of Charles' first marriage to Diana.
