How to find and take care of your Christmas tree

When Peanuts character Charlie Brown set out to search for the perfect Christmas centrepiece, he came back with a tree so fragile that a single ornament crumpled it to the ground.

But selecting a hearty and healthy spruce or fir can be quite easy, according to Pines and Needles Team Leader Alex Dardart. All you need to do is keep a few helpful tips in mind, which are explained in this video.

Once your tree makes it home, decorating is the next step. This year’s most popular trends, according to Dardart, include traditional reds and golds as well as Nordic themes of whites and blues.

“But we cater for all types of trends,” she explains. “If you want a James Bond theme, we can do that for you.”
