This week- luxury goods for the super rich will be on display at the Miljonair Fair in Amsterdam where exhibitors include the Amsterdam Diamond Center, Mercedes-Benz and Brandaris Yachts and Chinese householders will be subjected to the latest in interior design and household appliances at the Homex and Household Exhibition in Hong Kong.

The fifth and final in this year's series of Miljonair Fairs. These exclusive lifestyle exhibitions showcase the latest in high end luxury consumer products ranging from interior decorations to motor vehicles and yachts. Last year's event in Amsterdam attracted around 50,000 visitors. Unlike other tradeshows such as International CES or Ambiente, the Miljonair Fair does not focus on consumer relevance but rather aims to display the latest and best in international luxury products. Homex & Household Exhibition

The 10th annual Homex and Household Exhibition is aimed at promoting designs which reduce the problems associated with modern living. This year's exhibition is strongly linked with mainland China and will focus on furnishings, household appliances and interior design. However, the Homex & Household trade show lacks the international exposure of  trade shows such as Ambiente (February 2011) or ISH (March 2011).

One of the biggest consumer electronics events of the year CES, which has been running since 1967,  is often used as a launching pad for the latest consumer gadgets. With the smart grid and connected home appliances becoming an increasingly common phrase eyes will be turning towards International CES 2011 where the big names in the smart appliance industry are planning to showcase their latest  intelligent, energy saving appliances. The event attracts over 126,600 visitors each year and is one of the most important dates on technology enthusiasts' calendars.
