I found this site called www.AmericanParchment.com. It's provides news from around the United States and I was wondering what everyone thinks of it. I have found it very interesting and useful, especially when it comes to understand what is happening in Washington DC, Honduras, and the Global Economy from the perspective of the United States.

The Clueless Wives Club
When Bernard Madoff was sentenced last week, Ruth Madoff,
who has been married to him for nearly 50 years, issued a
statement saying that she did not know of his fraud until
just before his arrest. Several of the wives in the
political marriages rocked by disclosures of infidelity,
including Jenny Sanford, seemed to have been in the dark
for years.
Assuming these women didn't know, were they particularly
blinkered, or do these cases show the limits of knowing
another person, even in the most intimate and long-term
relationships? Or is this simply how partnerships are set
up in this culture? . . . Happy Days: Glenn Eichler - The Pursuit of What Matters in

This economic downturn has been tough on everyone, but for
those of us in the creative community it's been especially
hard. I'm no complainer (not that I get any credit for it),
but I've got to tell my story -- not so much for myself as
for my fellow artists everywhere. Things might be different
if I were a painter, or a sculptor, but I'm not. I'm an
omphaloskeptic. And the sad truth is, I can no longer make
a living gazing at my own navel. . . .
Particularly worrisome in Thursday's same-store sales reports: Mall-based teen stalwarts like Abercrombie & Fitch were among those hit hardest as families looked for bargains
There is no free lunch. We know this and all know this but we cannot face these as the one who is on the top seat covers up the lot.

Some of these sites listed here are very good - I liked Rabbit which highlights seasonality for fruit and vegetables. I'm not so sure about kelkoo shopping comparison though. Recenetly I checked various price comparison sites to find the best price online for a new netbook however I was sent down many blind alleys from Kelkoo.

If you cost out your time hunting for a bargain maybe you'll realise that you aren't making much of a saving after all.
fast price comparison

yes, I agree that there are plenty of useless price comparison sites that have out of date listings, that's why you need to stick with a fast price engine like http://www.s2buy.com because you save time twice. first of all the results of the search come up faster than other sites, and second because it is fast enough to scan all the shops it works with around the clock, so you get fresh results.

talking of mileage discrepancies, its interesting when you see vehicles which are old and they have a low amount of mileage. The savings you can make with a private sale are astonishing!
Voucher Codes are really helpful

The number of voucher codes retailers are issuing has dramatically increased and just by doing a quick search on sites like http://www.givemevouchers.co.uk one finds a plethora of merchtants trying to grab as many customers as possible by issuing more and more voucher codes. Great news of customers i suppose
