The Ecology Building Society this week launched a range of Values for Money deals aimed at those who like to spend ethically. Members are offered deals through the likes of organic clothes and textiles retailer Greenfibres (pictured), organic wine and beer firm Vintage Roots and the renewable electricity supplier Good Energy.

A third off pets’ microchipping

To encourage dog and cat lovers to protect their animals, Pets at Home has cut the rate of its microchipping service from £15 to £10 in June. It will be compulsory for all dogs in England and Wales to be microchipped by April 2016.
