Flybe passengers can beat the air tax

Regional airline Flybe will pay the Government's air passenger duty departure tax for customers making new bookings online until next Tuesday, 23 April. The "tax rebate" effectively lowers one-way fares by £13, and by £26 on return UK domestic fares. Bookings must be for flights between 1 July 2013 and 25 October 2014. Flybe has set up an online petition at www.flybe.com/taxrebate to complain about the tax.
