Palestinians jailed for Israel embassy blasts

Two Palestinian terrorists who carried out a bombing campaign against Jewish targets in London were each jailed for 20 years at the Old Bailey yesterday.

Samar Alami and Jawad Botmeh were part of a terrorist cell which was put in place to sabotage the Middle East peace process with two massive car bombs which rocked the Israeli embassy and a Jewish charity in July 1994.

Both had used their student status in the United Kingdom as a cover for their terrorist activities.
