It feels as though Adele has graced the cover of almost every magazine since bursting back into the public eye with long-awaited single no-one can get out of their head.

After appearing in Rolling Stone for an iconic, make-up free cover, the “Hello” singer is now gracing the front pages of Time magazine after selling over three million copies of her album 25 in the first week it went on sale in the US.

Buried in between her straightforward, candid quotes on her strained relationship with social media (“How am I supposed to write a real record if I’m waiting for half a million likes on a f**king photo? That ain’t real") the intimacy of her music, her disdain for 'disposable' streaming and her own surprise at her success lies an excellent aside about what she would do if her young son Angelo, three, came out as gay as an adult.

After describing her pride at creating her son, she told the magazine: “I can't wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes... Whatever my kid wants to do or be I'll always support him no matter what.”
