WITH YESTERDAY'S Uefa Cup title game threatened by spring snows, Moscow's mayor, Yuri Luzhkov, promised personally to avert the threat of mother nature.
Mr Luzhkov told the Uefa president, Lennart Johansson, he would send up several cloud-seeding aircraft to prevent overcast skies from dumping snow on the game between France's Olympique Marseille and Parma of Italy.
