Brighton Pride in pictures: The best photos from the festival's 25th year
This year's festival was briefly held up by a 'suspicious package' on the seafront

160,000 people have lined the streets of Brighton for the 25th anniversary of the city's Pride festival.
The procession itself was delayed by 90 minutes due to the discovery of a 'suspicious package' on the seafront but it was destroyed by police and the event continued along a diverted road, avoiding the seafront.
Here are the some of the most fantastic images from this year's festival:

Revellers add the final touches to their face paint before the parade kicks off.

Taking accessories to a whole new level with matching cupcakes.

A reveller twerks his way through a bunch of lillies.

The Brighton Gay Men's Chorus Float soaks up the atmosphere.

A group of teachers make the most of the summer holidays.

The warm conditions delighted this particular visitor, over from Lapland.

Even the police can find the time to have a bit of boogie at Pride.

And a wonderful rainbow corset...
