Arrests in Leeds hit-and-run

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident which left a two-year-old boy and his sister, 10, fighting for their lives.

The man is being questioned by police after Raham Saleem and his sister Sabam were knocked down by a Vauxhall Astra in Hyde Park, Leeds, on Saturday. He has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.
