Fears for missing 14-year-old

A 14-year-old girl who has been missing for two weeks could be with an adult who might harm her, police said today.

Officers are extremely concerned for Brianny Webster, who disappeared from her home in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, on September 1.

Lincolnshire Police said it is possible the teenager is with an adult who "may cause her significant harm".

They urged people in Lincoln, Sheffield and Nottingham to report any sightings of Brianny as soon as possible.

Chief Inspector Kieran English said: "We are talking about an extremely vulnerable young girl who has been missing for 14 days.

"She left her home in Gainsborough with no money and no change of clothes and she has no access to a bank account.

"We now also believe it is possible she could be in the company of an inappropriate adult who may cause her significant harm.

"Our investigations, which have included exhaustive inquiries and the searching of a number of addresses, suggest she could either be in Lincoln, Sheffield, or Nottingham, so we need people in those places to keep their eye out for her and to call us immediately if they see her.

"If Brianny sees this herself, please call the police and let us know you are OK.

"A lot of people are very concerned about you. You will not be in trouble; our only concern is that you are OK."
