A video has emerged that shows the horrific moment a rail ticket inspector was punched to the ground in a London station.
The short clip, released by the British Transport Police (BTP), shows a man jumping the barriers in London Bridge station at roughly 3.20pm on Wednesday last week.

When he is confronted by the 26-year-old employee he lashes out, knocking the man to the ground before members of the public intervene and he runs off.
Detective Constable Rod Harbron, of BTP’s Workplace Violence Unit, said: “This was a violent and unprovoked attack which left the member of staff incredibly shaken up and with a nasty injury to his jaw.”
Members of the BTP were on the scene in moments, however, the man who was in possession of a 16-25 ticket but not the accompanying rail card, had already fled the station.
Despite conducting a search of the surrounding area, they were unable to locate the man.
Det Con Harbron added: “I want to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the video, as I urgently need to speak with him. I also would like to hear from any witnesses who have yet to come forward to police.”Reuse content
