Summer holiday passengers flying from Heathrow Airport could have their flights disrupted by striking cargo crew, a union today.
Unite said cargo staff working for Swissport Cargo Services will be staging two three-day strikes - starting at 6.30am on Wednesday June 27 - after the company refused to discuss a pay claim.
Passenger flights could be disrupted because the strikes will delay cargo being put on the aircraft, warned Unite.
Unite's 275 members at Swissport will strike from 6.30am on Wednesday June 27 to 6.29am on Saturday June 30, and then from 6.30am on Wednesday July 4 to 6.29am on Saturday July 7.
