In the latest humiliation visited on the fallen media mogul, Lord Black has been caught on camera taking documents form his headquarters in Toronto in defiance of a court order.

Lord Black, who is accused of misappropriating money from Hollinger, has now agreed to return 12 boxes of documents, his spokesman said last night. The former owner of the Telegraph titles is due to be evicted from the offices at the end of the month.

The tape shows Lord Black's chauffeur, John Hillier, looking at the camera as Lord Black hands boxes to his long-time aide Joan Maida. He is then shown outside handing boxes to Mr Hillier. The spokesman said Lord Black did not believe personal effects were included in the court order, but would return the papers.
