Nigeria's anti-corruption agency wants to question the local managing directors of Royal Dutch Shell and the oil service firm Halliburton over allegations of bribery.
The investigation by the nation's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission comes after US authorities found those firms and others encouraged massive corruption within the troubled Nigerian Customs Service and elsewhere.
Shell says it will co-operate. Halliburton could not immediately be reached for comment.
