John Lennon's killer again denied bail

Mark David Chapman, who killed the former Beatle John Lennon 32 years ago, was denied parole for a seventh time yesterday.

Chapman, 57, is serving a prison sentence of 20 years to life for shooting Lennon outside the musician's New York home.

"Your release at this time would... trivialise the tragic loss of life which you caused," the parole board told Chapman.
