A chief organiser of twin suicide bombings that killed 40 people in Moscow's metro in March was killed by Russian security forces yesterday.
The body of Magomed-Ali Vagabov was found in the wreckage of a house stormed by security forces in Dagestan province, North Caucasus. Vagabov was the widower of Maryam Sharipova, 28, one of the metro suicide bombers. Terrorism linked to the North Caucasus has increased in the past two years.
