Nuclear guard runs amok
A young soldier assigned to guard a battery of nuclear missiles in southern Siberia killed his commanding officer and several fellow servicemen, AP reports from Barnaul, Russia. The soldier sprayed positions of intercontinental ballistic missiles from his assault rifle on 10 March, but the command tried to hush up the incident, Itar-Tass said.
