Cycling: South African Daryl Impey wins Basque stage

South African Daryl Impey has won the second stage of the Tour of the Basque Country, beating Francesco Gavazzi of Italy and Angel Vicioso of Spain in a sprint finish.

Gavazzi took the overall lead from first-stage winner Simon Gerrans, with Vicioso second and Peter Velits third.

Former Tour de France winner Alberto Contador finished in the main bunch and sits 13th overall.
