Diving: Tom Daley makes winning return
Tom Daley proved he is his own hardest task master after he made a golden return in his first major competition since the London Olympics yesterday.
Daley attracted the first 10s of the three-day meet en route to winning the 10 metre platform at the World Series in Edinburgh, his first major competition since memorably earning bronze in London eight months ago. However he offered a more cautious outlook on a performance that earned a healthy 542.15 score.
"Out of 10 for today I'd give myself an eight," he said. "There is still a lot to improve on with my first two dives. I can step up a little bit more."
